Murfreesboro, TN - HandPicked, an artisan jewelry boutique with headquarters in Columbia, SC, recently announced the opening of its newest store located in The Avenue Murfreesboro at 2615 Medical Center Parkway. The boutique store, offering unique jewelry, monograms and gifts from around the world, has now announced it will hold an all-day fall style event on Saturday, October 22.

 

“We are excited to incorporate our Murfreesboro grand opening celebration into a fall fashion event,” said Sonya Ingram, general manager of HandPicked.

 

The event will include demonstrations of fall runway looks by New York City-based celebrity stylist, Alana Kelen, whose clients include Ashley Judd, Taylor Swift, John Mayer and Natasha Bedingfield.

 

“I’m looking forward to helping the women of Murfreesboro discover and define their own personal style with HandPicked jewelry,” Kelen said. “Walking into a handpicked boutique reminds me of the posh accessory stores in New York City or Los Angeles. Handpicked was founded in 1986 by Melanie Mauldin, a Louisiana native who spent many summers in Mexico as a child. The Murfreesboro store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10AM until 8PM., and on Sunday from noon until 5PM.
