With this collection of recipes, you won't need the luck of the Irish for your St. Patrick’s Day get-together to be a hit. Whether you’re looking to DIY and go all-out or need quick party-prep ideas, we’ve got you covered.

The Grub

Feeling lucky? To feed your crowd, you can’t go wrong with traditional corned beef and cabbage, made in one of these Le Creuset Dutch Ovens from Williams-Sonoma – in green, of course! Or, if you’re looking to splurge, serve it up in your very own pot of gold, like this Mauviel Copper Dutch Oven.

Short on time? Pick up “Soup for a Group” from Panera Bread. Their Broccoli Cheddar soup with bread bowls will have guests feeling lucky as leprechauns.

The Libations

Feeling lucky? Make Shamrock Shakes for the kids and young at heart by blending ice cream with a splash of milk, mint extract and a few dashes of green food coloring. Serve them up in these sure-to-make-you-smile mason jars.

Short on time? Green Beer is a St. Patrick’s Day party standby for good reason. All you need are two ingredients and you're on your way to Irish bliss. Simply mix 3-5 drops of food coloring (available at Michael’s or any grocery store) with beer, and you’re done. Hint: Add food coloring to your glasses first, then slowly pour in the beer. Do it the other way around, and you’ll have to stir, which can lead to flat beer (blech!). Make your efforts extra-special by offering green beer to guests in these glasses, each featuring a label of a famous Irish brew.

The Sweets

Feeling lucky? Round out your menu with a simple dessert that’s easy to eat while mingling and sure to delight: Shamrock Sugar Cookies. Make your favorite sugar cookie recipe, then cut into round shapes. Draw and cut out a clover stencil, then sprinkle with green sanding sugar, available at Michael’s, before baking.

Short on time? Skip the baking (and cleanup!) and treat guests to St. Patrick’s Day-themed treats from Gigi’s Cupcakes. Selection varies, but may include Chocolate Stout, Bailey's Irish Cream and Mint Chocolate Chip.
