Murfreesboro, TN - All local residents will have the opportunity to create original artwork for the 4th Annual Taste of Stones River official T-shirt design. The committee for Taste of Stones River, which will take place on Saturday, August 28 at The Avenue Murfreesboro, is anticipating a variety of creative entries and has identified the following age groups and prize levels: Grades K - 8 and Grades 9 –12 each have the chance to win a $50 cash prize and Adult Ages 18 and up have the chance to win a $100 cash prize. All age groups are eligible to have their design featured on the T-shirt.

 

Judging will be based on originality and creativity, and judges are looking for a design that captures the spirit of the event and incorporates a food theme. Last year’s winner was Shane Read of Murfreesboro. His original design was featured on the event T-shirts.

 

Art submissions can be sent in any format to lindymullen@cousinsproperties.com or The Avenue Murfreesboro Management Office, ATTN: Taste of Stones River T-Shirt Contest, 2615 Medical Center Pkwy. Ste. 1450, Murfreesboro, TN 37129. Submissions will be accepted through Friday, April 30 at 5pm.

 

All winners will receive special recognition at the Taste of Stones River event, which will be held from 4pm – 8pm.

The 4th annual Taste of Stones River benefits the Primary Hope & Care Clinic. The event will feature sample items from over 40 of the area’s finest restaurants and will take place at The Avenue Murfreesboro. Live entertainment will feature performances by various local groups.
