The Style Upgrade Winners - Spring 2010

As a part of its ongoing Partners in Education initiatives, The Avenue® East Cobb partnered with Lassiter High School's Marketing Department (part of the Career Tech Department) to treat teachers to THE STYLE upGRADE. Over 30 teachers from Lassiter High School nominated themselves to win a style makeover sponsored by The Avenue East Cobb. Voting is now closed. Based on over 8,700 votes from the community, two lucky teachers were selected to win a style makeover package valued at over $1,000.

Ms. Trudy Green (above, before and after) has been a counselor for nine years. "The whole process gave me something to be excited about. One of my sons said it was good to see me smile again," says Green, who is originally from Powder Springs, GA.

Ms. Cyndi Beal (below, before and after) has been teaching history, health inclusion and special education for thirty years. "While supporting my girls as a single mom, I haven't had a lot of money to spend on myself," Beal said. "I thought it would be exciting to do something for myself."
